Closure + Change/Cancellation Updates
Many of our favorite vacation destinations are temporarily suspending operations in the effort to keep its personnel and visitors safe, which is of the upmost importance in this uncertain time. Beyond Imagination Vacations has compiled a number of vacation supplier closures and change/cancellation policies so that you have a one-stop resource to navigate upcoming and future vacation plans.
Walt Disney World Resort
NEW:
Walt Disney World Resort is closed until further notice.

Starting March 16, the theme parks and water parks of Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL are temporarily closed until the end of the month.
Disney owned and operated hotels at Walt Disney World Resort will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 20 through the end of the month.
All Disney owned and operated locations, including shops and restaurants, will close at Disney Springs beginning Tuesday, March 17, through the end of the month. As of March 21, all other retail and restaurant locations at Disney Springs will also be temporarily closed.
Effective March 15, until further notice, the final payment policy for Walt Disney World Resort packages booked through Walt Disney Travel Company has been modified. For existing bookings, final payment will now be due seven days prior to Guest arrival, rather than the 30-day mark.
Unexpired multi-day park tickets with unused days or date-specific park tickets with a valid use date from March 12-March 31, 2020 will automatically be extended to use any date through December 15, 2020. If ticket-holders are unable to visit by the extended date, they may apply the value of a wholly unused ticket toward the purchase of a ticket at a later date.
Florida Resident Discovery Disney tickets may be used until July 31, 2020.
Guests who purchased Disney After Hours, Disney Villains After Hours and Disney Early Morning Magic from March 16 to March 31 will be automatically refunded.
Annual Passholders will have their membership extended the length of days the parks are closed.
All pre-paid dining and experiences impacted by the closure will be automatically refunded.
FastPass+ selections that had been made to be redeemed during the closure will be cancelled.
Disneyland Resort
NEW:
Disneyland Resort is closed until further notice.

Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park closed beginning the morning of March 14 with closure scheduled through March 31.
The hotels of the Disneyland Resort closed on March 16 and will be closed until March 31.
All Disney owned and operated locations, including shops and restaurants, will close at Downtown Disney beginning Tuesday, March 17, through the end of the month.
If your check-in date for a Disneyland Resort hotel room reservation is scheduled during the closure, your reservation will be cancelled without the need for you to take any action. You will automatically receive a refund for your hotel room reservation. If you wish to change or cancel your visit, Disney is providing refunds to those Guests who have Disneyland Resort hotel room reservations for any nights of stay during this closure period.
Effective March 15, until further notice, the final payment policy for Disneyland Resort packages booked through Walt Disney Travel Company has been modified. Disney Cruise Line
NEW:
Disney Cruise Line is suspending all new departures through June 18, 2020, Disney Magic Sailings through July 2, 2020 and Vancouver Sailings until the end of June.

Disney Cruise Line is suspending all new departures through May 17, 2020, Disney Magic Sailings through June 7, 2020 and sailings to/from Vancouver until the end of June.
Beginning March 18, an automatic final payment extension was added to select 2020 summer reservations. Final payments will now be extended out an additional 30 days. (For example, a departure with a final payment due yesterday, March 18, 2020, is now extended to April 17, 2020.)
The impacted sailings are:
Disney Dream: Sailing embarking on June 17 – sailings embarking on August 30
Disney Fantasy: Sailing embarking on July 18 – sailings embarking on August 31
Disney Wonder: Sailing embarking on July 20 – sailings embarking on August 31
Disney Magic: Sailing embarking on August 5 – sailings embarking on August 30
The following policies apply:
Guests will not be able to complete Online Check-In or book Cruise Activities/Port Adventures if they have not paid in full
Disney Cruise Line Air will continue to follow existing policies
o Payment will be due at time of final for Flexible Air
o Restricted Air is non-refundable once paid
The deposit cancellation fee window will shift by 30 days for all non-suite/non-concierge staterooms
o There are no changes to the cancellation policy for Suites and Concierge Staterooms

Disney Cruise Line has suspended all new departures through and including April 12. Disney Cruise Line will offer Guests sailing on the impacted cruises the choice of a 125% cruise credit to be used for a future sailing within 15 months of their original sail date, or a full refund. If Guests select a future cruise credit and are not able to use it, they will be eligible for a refund up to the amount they paid in full. Standard prevailing rates will apply for future cruises. (Only the Disney Magic and Disney Fantasy sailings scheduled to depart on March 14 will receive a 150% cruise credit.)
On March 13, the Canadian government announced that the country will not allow any ship with more than 500 passengers to dock in any Canadian port from now until July 1, at the earliest. The Disney Wonder has sailings that are scheduled to embark and/or debark in Vancouver beginning April 29. Disney Cruise Line is currently evaluating various options and has not made changes to any itineraries. Once a decision is made, Disney Cruise Line will reach out to Guests booked on these sailings.
Adventures by Disney
NEW:
Adventures by Disney has suspended all new departures through June 30, 2020. Adventures by Disney Mediterranean Cruise packages and Rome Escape packages have been cancelled for late June and early July. Disney Cruise Line is cancelling Disney Magic departures through July 2, 2020. Three sailings include Adventures by Disney Cruise Packages booked in conjunction with these cruises.

Adventures by Disney has suspended all new departures through the end of May, and most departures through June 30, 2020. Adventures by Disney along with AmaWaterways, their partner in river cruise sailings, have decided to suspend all river cruise sailings and their associated Escape trips through June 28, 2020.
Adventures by Disney has decided to cancel most trips through the end of May. ABD will continue to evaluate the 3-night Barcelona Escape (departing 5/20 and 5/27) and the 7-night Mediterranean Adventures by Disney Cruise Package (departing 5/23 and 5/30).
Beginning March 19, a final payment extension will be automatically added to all reservations for adventures departing July 15 through August 31, 2020.
Final Payments will be extended out an additional 30 days.
Example: A departure with a final payment due today, March 19, 2020, will be extended to April 18, 2020.
The deposit payment will continue to follow current cancellation guidelines and is non-refundable 15+ days after it is paid should the Guest choose to cancel their reservation
With this extension, final payment is due 90 days before Adventure start

Adventures by Disney has decided to suspend new departures through the end of April.
Additionally, the following Adventures have been cancelled:
· Disneyland Resort & Southern California departures through March
· Disneyland & Southern California Escape departures through March
· England and France departures through April
· Egypt departures through April (due to connecting flights through affected areas)
· Greece departures through April
· Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos departures through May
· Italy departures through May
· Italy and Amalfi Coast departures through May
· Japan departures through May
· China departures through June
If Guests are currently booked on an Adventure through May 31, reservations may be changed to receive a 100% credit to be used toward a future Adventure. For Clients traveling April 1 through April 15, 2020, Guests should contact Adventures by Disney at least 24 hours prior to the Adventure start date to request a change. For Clients traveling April 16 through May 31, 2020, contact Adventures by Disney at least 14 days prior to the Adventure start date to request a change. Guests may select a new travel date and/or an alternate Adventure by December 31, 2020, by calling 1-855-223-0025 or 407-566-8345. The credit is non-refundable and standard prevailing rates will apply. Any new bookings made on future trips through the end of June will be subject to fully refundable deposits up until the final payment date.
Disney’s Vero Beach Resort

Effective March 20, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Hawaii is closed until March 31.
All Disney-imposed change and cancellation fees will be waived up to the date of check-in impacted by the closure, as well as those rescheduled reservations with arrivals through June 30, 2020.
Royal Caribbean Cruise Line
NEW:
All sailings departing on and before June 11, 2020 have been cancelled, as well as the Vision of the Seas’ June 13th, 2020 and Anthem of the Seas’ June 20th, 2020 sailings. In addition to a full refund option, Royal Caribbean is offering a 125% Future Cruise Credit to rebook and sail by April 30, 2022. Rebooking must be made by December 31, 2021.
Cancel up to 48 hours before you sail and get a future cruise credit good through 2021. For cruises now through September 1, 2020.

Royal Caribbean Cruise Line has extended its sailing suspension with the goal to return to general service as of May 12, 2020. The only known exceptions to this are the return date of July 2nd, 2020 for the kick-off of the Alaska season, as well as all sailings originating or ending in Canada.

Royal Caribbean has suspended sailings which will resume on April 11.
Guests will automatically receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit if they choose another sailing and travel by December 31, 2021. If Guests prefer a refund rather than choosing another sailing, refund requests are available through December 31, 2021 at 100% of the amount paid.
Universal Orlando Resort
NEW:
Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Hollywood Studios are closed until at least May 31, 2020.

Universal Orlando closed its theme parks and water at the close of business on March 15.
Universal Citywalk will close on March 16 at midnight.
Universal Orlando’s on-site hotels will close at 5 p.m. on March 20. The scheduled March 17th opening of the newest on-property hotel, Universal's Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites, has been postponed.
Universal Orlando projects the closings to run until March 31.
Unexpired single-day tickets that have already been purchased will be valid on any day for 365 days from the purchase date. Unexpired multi-day tickets that have already been purchased will also be valid for first use on any day from 365 days from purchase – but, as always, must be used within seven days of first use. If Guests cannot travel during the extended time, they can apply the value of a wholly unused ticket toward a new purchase.
Guests can modify or cancel room or package reservations held during the Universal closure period with no penalty or fee. Ticket purchases, hotel reservations and packages purchased between March 4 and April 15 qualify for Universal’s Stress-Free booking policy, which means they may be modified or canceled with no fee at least 24 hours prior to arrival.
Annual passes will be extended by the number of days our theme parks are closed. Existing benefits and restrictions will continue to apply.
Celebrity Cruises
NEW:
Celebrity Cruises has suspended all sailings departing on or before June 11, 2020. In addition, due to port closures, Celebrity is modifying the June 16 Canada/New England sailing and suspending Alaska sailings through July 1, 2020.
Change your sail date up to 48 hours before your cruise or receive a future cruise credit good through 2021. For cruises now through September 1, 2020.

Celebrity has suspended all global sailings through May 11, 2020. In addition, due to port closures, Celebrity is suspending Alaska sailings through July 1, 2020; and Canada/New England sailings departing May 19th, May 28th and June 16th will be modified.

Celebrity Cruises is extending options through May 31, 2020 for all guests intending to rebook, but not yet in receipt of their Future Cruse Certificate.

Celebrity Cruise temporarily suspended all cruising operations globally beginning on March 15 with plans to resume sailing on Saturday, April 11th.
Guests traveling during the sailing suspension will automatically receive a 125% Future Cruise Credit valid until December 31, 2021. Guests who prefer a 100% refund to their original method of payment can contact Celebrity Cruises up until the expiration date of their Future Cruise Credit. Guests with air travel and hotel booked through Flights by Celebrity will be refunded automatically. In addition, Guests who pre-booked excursions through Celebrity and/or who pre-purchased beverage, internet, specialty dining or other onboard packages will also receive a full refund to the original form of payment.
Norwegian Cruise Line
NEW:
Norwegian Cruise Line’s suspension of sailings has been extended to include all voyages embarking through June 30, 2020.

Otherwise, Guest can receive a 100% refund of the fare paid to be reimbursed to the original form of payment within 90 days of the initial request. Guests scheduled to embark on cruises between March 18 through April 11 will receive a 125% refund of the fare paid in the form of a Future Cruise Credit, which can be applied toward any future cruise through December 31, 2022. Otherwise, guests can receive a 100% refund of the fare paid to be reimbursed to the original form of payment within 90 days of the guest’s refund request.
Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas
Effective March 25, Atlantis will temporarily close until May 15, 2020.
Sandals and Beaches Resorts
Sandals and Beaches resorts are scheduled to reopen on June 4, 2020 in Antigua, Barbados, Grenada, Jamaica, St. Lucia and Turks & Caicos. Bahamian locations are set to reopen on June 15, 2020.

Excellence Resorts
Beloved Playa Mujeres, Excellence Punta Cana and Excellence El Carmen are scheduled to remain closed until June 30, 2020. Finest Playa Mujeres, Excellence Playa Mujeres, Excellence Riviera Cancun and Excellence Oyster Bay are scheduled to remain closed until June 11, 2020.

All-inclusive resorts Excellence Punta Cana and Beloved Playa Mujeres will close March 20 with a reopening date set for June 5.
Located only minutes away, reservations will be honored at Excellence El Carmen for guests booked at Excellence Punta Cana arriving on or after the closing date. A similar suite category or higher will be given on arrival at Excellence El Carmen.
Reservations will be honored at neighboring Excellence Playa Mujeres for guests booked at Beloved Playa Mujeres arriving on or after the closing date. A similar suite category or higher will be given on arrival at Excellence Playa Mujeres.
Guests who can no longer travel on their original dates can reschedule through December 22, 2020.
AM Resorts
NEW:
AM Resorts’ various brand properties - Sunscape, Relflect, Now, Dreams, Breathless, Secrets and Zoetry - are closed throughout the Caribbean.
AM Resorts’ Mexico Caribbean properties are opening from June 4, 2020 to August 1, 2020.
AM Resorts’ Mexico Pacific properties are scheduled to open from June 18, 2020 to July 1, 2020.
The Dreams and Secrets properties in Costa Rica are scheduled to reopen on June 1, 2020, while Dreams in Panama will reopen on July 1, 2020.
Secrets in St. Martin will reopen on July 15, 2020. Sunscape Curacao will reopen on June 1, 2020, while Dreams Curacao is scheduled to open on September 30, 2020.
AM Resorts’ properties in the Dominican Republic are scheduled to reopen June 21, 2020 to August 15, 2020.
The AM Resorts properties in Jamaica are scheduled to reopen on June 1, 2020 to September 30, 2020.
Princess Cruises
Princess Cruises is canceling all voyages through June 30, 2020. In addition, Princess Cruises can confirm modifications to the Alaska season, which includes the cancellation of all Princess Alaska Gulf cruise and cruisetours. The five wilderness lodges, trains and buses operated by Princess in Alaska will not open this summer.
Sailings scheduled for March 12—May 10, 2020 canceled by Princess will be automatically canceled by Princess.. Guests on these canceled bookings may choose one of the two options: a Future Cruise Credit of 225% of the value of the canceled cruise, based on the sailing date; or a 100% refund to the original form of payment and up to 100% Future Cruise Credit, based on booking sailing date.
